The company wanted to improve talent mobility for its 30,000+ employees globally to create new ways for individuals to grow professionally, to increase employee engagement and improve retention.
They wanted to turn a high-level idea - where employees could further their professional growth by taking on "gigs' in other parts of the company alongside their day jobs - into reality.
I turned the high-level idea into a compelling vision backed with a coherent story that articulated the benefits for employees, managers and leaders.
I implemented a new tech platform and revamped processes, ways of working and the performance management framework to embed a new culture around managing talent and career progression that included “gigs” as part of the conversation.
The Talent Marketplace is now part of the rhythm and routine of the company globally and embedded in how its employees, managers and leaders think about finding, developing and managing talent.
